One third of PanUTI members are registered as “Sworn Translators” but such detail is not specified under their credentials on the web site of the Pancyprian Union of Graduate Translators and Interpreters to avoid demonstrating preferential treatment to one third over the two third of PanUTI members who either do not wish to register as “Sworn Translators” or they are not eligible to apply as this law deviates from professional reality and professional translation course, causing artificial professional isolation and exclusion from the Cypriot translation market.
